Bond Street Capital Partners
Operator Fellows

Don't start a company.
Run one.

Bond Street Operator Fellows backs exceptional operators to acquire and run an established business — with permanent capital behind them and an operating platform beneath them.

The idea

There is a third path.

Talented operators are usually handed a false choice: start something from zero and spend years reaching the point where the business actually works, or keep climbing a ladder someone else built. Both waste the thing that makes a good operator valuable — the ability to run a real company well.

There is a third path. Thousands of excellent, profitable businesses are owned by people approaching retirement with no succession plan. They do not need to be invented; they need to be run — and run better. We back the operator who wants to do exactly that: find one, buy it with our capital, and spend the next decade making it stronger.

What we provide

The two things a first-time owner cannot buy: patient capital and a working back office.

Capital to acquire

We fund the acquisition from our own balance sheet. You do not need to raise a fund, assemble a syndicate, or spend a year convincing investors before you can move.

Backing through the search

Finding the right business takes patience and judgment. We support you through the search and help you evaluate what you find — including the ones you should walk away from.

A platform on day one

Process discipline, technology and automation, a centralized back office, and a trained global operating team. You inherit infrastructure most owner-operators spend a decade building.

Real ownership

You are a principal, not an employee. Every fellowship is structured so that the person running the business shares meaningfully in what it becomes.

No clock

We hold indefinitely. You will never be told to sell a company you are still building because a fund reached the end of its life.

Operators to call

We run businesses ourselves. When something breaks on a Friday evening, you are calling people who have fixed that exact thing before.

How the operating system works →

Who we look for

We are betting on a person, not a résumé.

A bias to operate

You want to run the business, not advise it. The appeal of this path is the responsibility, not the title.

Ownership instinct

You are comfortable being the person accountable for the outcome, including on the days nobody is watching.

Judgment under uncertainty

Small businesses do not arrive with clean data. We look for people who can decide well with incomplete information.

Humility

The people already inside the business know things you do not. The best operators learn the company before they change it.

Sector-agnostic

We care far more about the person than the industry. Bring us what you know and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.

The long view

This is a decade, not a two-year résumé line. We are looking for someone who wants to build something durable and stay.

How it works

01

Conversation

A confidential conversation about you, what you have run, and the kind of business you want to own.

02

Search

You look for the right company. We back the search, open doors where we can, and help you pressure-test what you find.

03

Acquire

We provide the capital and structure the transaction — with the discipline of buying well, because the entry price is your margin of safety too.

04

Operate

You run it, plugged into the platform, with a partner who is in no hurry to sell what you are building.

Every fellowship is structured individually around the person and the business. We would rather discuss the specifics honestly in a conversation than publish terms that fit no one.

Apply

Tell us what you want to run.

There is no application window and no form letter. Tell us who you are, what you have run, and the kind of business you would want to own for the next decade. We read every one ourselves.
